Frei Bahnhof-Garage AG (Winterthur)

In 1966 our father Emil Frei founded a towing and breakdown service around Winterthur. He repaired the towed vehicles in a single box next to the residential house in the Nägelsee quarter.

• In 1970 he was able to rent four parking garages behind the Nägelsee restaurant.
• 1979 he moved to Wülflingen next to the train station
• 1980 he could take over the Citroen agency and one year later Heinz Frei joined the company.
• 1986 Rolf Frei followed and they also took over the Peugeot brand.
• On January 1, 1995 Emil Frei handed over the garage to his sons Heinz and Rolf Frei.

Thanks to a large and satisfied customer base, Bahnhof Garage expanded and in 1998 we were able to realize a new building at Schlosstalstrasse 211. Heinz Frei worked in the garage for a long time. For health reasons he changed to the administration. At the same time he is responsible for the Citroen brand. Rolf Frei, car diagnostician, for the Peugeot brand, workshop and customer service.

The car sales of new and used cars are done by both together.
